I am trying somewhat unsuccessfully to get an ATI Rage 128 card (pull
from a B& W G3) to work on my beige G3. I tried the card without
drivers, no go. Installed the suitable ATI driver and set the card as
the startup screen via the monitor control panel still no go. At the
moment, all I'm getting are a series of fractured images at startup, and
then a fractured image of the desktop pattern.
I would like to use this card eventually, when I put Jaguar into the
system in a few days time (currently running OS 9.2.2). Other than the
card being busted (I am going to test with another card that is
currently working in another B&W), is there something else I should have
done?
