I think there are a few bugs need ironing out in 10.2.1.

I agree. It might be worthwhile listing them, at least as they appear on our
individual systems. I'd welcome hearing about other problems and about work
arounds.

For example, on my Beige MT (466 G4) I find several problems with native
iMovie, including display errors (which don't appear in exported video) and a
titling function that works in 9.2 but not X.

The card reader in my Epson 785epx printer isn't supported in X, even in Epson's
X driver.

I can't get Classic applications to print in X, though I've tried to follow the
Help directions involving printer sharing in Classic and usb sharing in X.

Localtalk isn't implemented so I can't use my expensive old serial laser printer
without additional hardware. I need to reboot into 9.2.

My wife's computer can't print over localtalk while my Beige is booted in X. (No
problem when it is turned off or booted in 9.2)

Classsic applications don't seem to see some scsi devices. At least Toast for
9.2 doesn't see my scsi CD burner. I haven't tried the scanners or scsi drive.

These are just a few of the kinks I've had to deal with. I wouldn't be bothered
with X at all except that I need iDVD. And it is sort of fun to learn and
struggle with. It isn't an easy transition for some of us. There's a lot to
fix in X.
