Try the stratup disk app from the beta OS X: Mikael Palulis has it on it's site, this is from a previous mail: "If you hit my filesharing folder at http://homepage.mac.com/mikeal, you'll find a utility that will help you muchly. It's the system disk utility from the OS X public beta. It is an app, not a CP that allows you to set the startup disk. My config is not the same (B&W G3) but what I did was copying the full OS 9 set I have to the OS X partition, made it as clean as possible, then installed OS X over it. Then I selected this clean OS 9 for Classic in the system prefs. If I want to boot into the full OS 9 set I select this partition in the startup disk system prefs.
