I purchased a Radeon 7000 graphics card for my beige MT G3 300, in the hopes that it would cure the black screen problem that showed up after upgrading to Jaguar. I installed the drivers from the CD, applied the Oct ATI updates, installed the card, and then observed that my boot disk was rendered unbootable. I was able to boot into 9.2 on a separate disk. I removed the card and reinstalled Jaguar. I'd like to try again. Is there a trick to getting the Radeon to work on a beige G3 running Jaguar, or was I just unlucky?
Thanks, Steve Buyske PS The G3 is stock except for a Sonnet Firewire/USB PCI card and the Apple Ultra SCSI card. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
