A couple of quick questions: 1) I have a variety of macs, powerbook & imac's all networked and I am going to format them Mac OS extended & 9.2. Is Mac OS Extended and HFS+ the same format? All I can find in apple's drive setup is either Mac OS standard and Mac OS extended.
2) I noticed that when I go from Mac Extended to Mac OS Standard formatted drives andthe size changes and gets considerably bigger (2x to 10x). Is there any way to make the file the original (smaller) size? 3) I have a Beige 266DT with an Orangelink Firewire PCI/USB card. Is the thruput rate through that card lower than lets say the mac's standard firewire port on a B&W?
