Am using G3 Beige/300Mhz w/768 RAM ,9.2.1 OS- Lan w/ PPC Performa 6400/200 , 8.6 OS ( not functioning yet, but soon w/ Asante router Fr3004LC has print server for Windoze only I'm told ) G3 has USB printer HP OfficeJet G85xi working. Would like to use another HP printer Deskjet 1120C ( has larger size paper ). It's a Postscript type . Have used it in the past with 8.6 Usb cable from Stylescript ? Before that upgrade from 7.5 the cable used was an ADB type. Plan A- Get Lan running, shoot product from G3 to 6400- that machine runs the print job on the 1120C. Problem- 6400 doesn't have USB ( for use with 8.6 upgrade )would have to get card. Plan B, partition G3 Drive [ have Powerlogix Zif 550 G4 upgrade heading my way ] with 8.6 and run print job from it. Will that work? I donno. Plan C purchase---another--- upgrade 9.2 for rip off close to $300 bucks from vendor. Uggaa! Got some ideas? Thanks, tuck
