I'm running a G4/466 upgrade in my G3DT right now, and am pleased with it. That one was $179 new (and with a warrantee) from OWC. Upgrade went smooth as silk, popped it in, ppulled the old jumper block, put on the new jumpers, pressed the cuda (of to the side of the farthest OCI slot, iirc) and booted up. Installed 10.2 without a hitch. (well, minor hitch...I dropped the 40 gb drive I was transferring in with it, and that was that for the drive, bit other than my klutziness all went well.) As for printing to the LWPro, you ought to be able to do it via ethernet, although OSX doesn't support PostScript level 1; I believe it's Level II in that printer. That said, even Level 1 PS may be supportable using Gimp-Print <http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php3> which is fabulous and saved my butt when I advised one of our faculty members to upgrade, then realized that he couldn't print anymore Ten minutes messing with Gimp-print and all was well. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
