> Wait until Norton Utilities hoses a hard drive or two. It is truly a foul little suite compared to TTP 3 and DW.
> I second the 'Norton's sucks' feeling as I have seen Norton's screw up a lot of OS'. > > I have used Nortons so many times that your warnings truly ring hollow. If there were any substance to your caveats, Norton would be out of business. I have to say I have never had an instance where "norton's messed up my hard drive" and I've used Norton's ever since I started using a Mac in 1994. It may have not helped. I've had cases where Norton's wouldn't help but Disk Warrior did and vice versa. I never really had an instance where Tech Tool did much but it sure is impressive to watch anyway. I use all three: TTP 3 and DW. I usually end up using Norton's. I imagine each person has a good reason to feel they way they do according to their experience. I do not like to install anything extra for either of them. I just use the application to test hard drive. On PC, I do not like anything beyond Disk Doc or Win Doc, aside from their Anti-virus which I found to work well. Anyway, it's nice to have all of them use. ===== __________________________________________ alternate e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sig: Specs: Beige G3 DT/466mhz, OS 9.2.2 & 10.2 __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
