I had this same problem with the clock a few weeks ago when I upgraded to OS
9. I tried all the suggestions: zapped the pram, reset the cuda, used the
network time set, reset the clock every day. I finally ordered a new battery
(my old one was only 6 mos. old). The day before the new battery arrived,
after 3 weeks of waking up in 1956, it stopped doing it and has had the
correct time and date ever since.

Go figure...
