>If you are a teacher or employed in a school, Apple will send you
>both iLife and
>Keynote (the new software that ought to be better than PowerPoint) for $14.95.

Be careful: under the terms and conditions of this offer, you must be
a certified teacher currently employed in a qualifying school (k-12:
there's a different offer for college level). The offer is not
available to other employees of schools, or student teachers, or
students, or anyone else. I'm a teacher aide and don't qualify for
it, but I convinced the teacher in my classroom to go for it. It's a
great deal; even if you already have downloaded the new versions of
the iLife apps, you're still getting Keynote at almost a $75 discount
from the education price. Remember, tho, it's version 1.0 and bound
to have some problems to work out. Hopefully the upgrade for it won't
have the price jump that Jaguar did over OS X.
