On behalf of Keynote - it works great, there are feature holes as always, but the big one that I want to see filled should come when WebCore is completed and Safari 1.0 final is released. WebCore should allow for rendering of web content and HTML from within a slideshow rather than outputing the task to a web browser as PowerPoint does. I am also hoping future updates bring more control over audio syncing and sound editing to give users greater ability to use audio in presentations, perhaps fade in and outs of audio levels, multiple audio tracks with varying sound levels and start points, and presentation wide rather than single slide audio integration. I also think that more tweaking can and will come in the form of control over build-ins and build-outs and QuickTime video control. Keynote is a huge step up from PowerPoint in terms of ease of use and if one considers both ease of use and features I would contend that even with some of its holes Keynote is still equal or stronger overall. > Hopefully the upgrade for it won't > have the price jump that Jaguar did over OS X. Oh, and I have to ask - price jump? It didn't go up any, it was just charged for, I assume that Keynote 2.0 will be charged for same as 1.0, I also expect that in about 9-12 months when 10.3 comes out that it will be charged for, that is their pricing model.
