More generally, check the specs for the machines that
are compatible with the card; the 9000 does not, IIRC, 
work with older G3s.  You can check the machine
compatibility of the cards on the ATI web site. I think
Bonnie has a Beige G3, which seems better suited
to the installation of a Radeon 7000. 

In any case, checking the card specs on the web site would
be a useful step before buying...
