No easy way, no. You will have to save copies of everything
you want on zips, CD's, external hard drives, or such and then wipe
the hard drive clean and reinstall the OS 8.6 operating system.
I also still use OS 8.6 and really like it. But I also like
OS 9.1. These are the two that I have settled on, after much
experimenting, for my own use.
