I bought ( traded for ) a DA/466/133
I then bought an OEM Dual533CPU set-up for it
I installed the 533's hit the CUDA and no startup chime
(fans work, no HD, no video, red light comes on MB)
I swapped around ram, cussed, still no chime
I replaced the 466 (never tested initial Tower) all worked fine
(ram from my G4/100 (133/cl3) wasnt reading, the one that came with the
Tower was, still started even though wasnt reading one of two ram sticks)
I cussed some more =(

Ive been reading and doing research but have found nothing other than
things like firmware and batteries ( I would assume if worked with the 466
then should work with the 533's without any adjustments)

I assume the CPU is getting power and is seated correctly because the CPU
fan ( powered off the CPU board) is running as it should.... but everything
else is dead, other than the tower fan and the red light on the motherboard.

a bad cpu is the only thing I can deduce, I really want this thing to work,
but wanting isnt doing me much good =(

any ideas? Im fresh out...is there something special you need to adjust when
adding a dual cpu to a previously single set up?

thanks for any help, this is my last chance...
Ralph
