I was wondering if anyone has tried this 5 Port USB 2.0 / Firewire IEEE 1394 PCI Combo Adapter. The price ($39.95) seems very reasonable to me and says it uses two different onboard chipsets to operate the USB 2 and Firewire functions. As well as working with OS X and OS 9.
