Apple does not manufacture RAM; the buy a lot from Crucial.  I bought extra
RAM at the Crucial web site.  Great web site for info and matching your
specific machine to the RAM.  Another RAM vendor on line that listers like
is OWC (Other World Computing).

Agree.  You could unplug all SCSI devices and the USB hub to see what
happens.  If nothing happens, reconnect the USB hub and the SCSI devices in
turn and in various combinations to isolate the behavior.

OK, cross your fingers.  Also you could run the Micromat TechTool Deluxe if
you have it with AppleCare to check the RAM.  Or you can use/buy Techtool
Pro.  One easy way to wring out the RAM is to run the Graphic Calculator in
demo mode overnight.  Since your OS 9 is stable, run it there.  It is in the
Applications Folder.  If the calculator is still running in the morning, I'd
feel good about the RAM.

If you still suspect the RAM, you should first remove it and then reseat it
firmly.  Check your manual instructions on how to install RAM.
