Hey Ted, In 2001 I got a click of death on my Zip 100, and asked this list I think. As it turns out, there is a recognized defect going way back. Call Iomega, let them listen to the click over the phone, and they will send you a new drive. They sent me a 250 that also reads 100s, a brand new one, although I did have to pay the difference in price. As others have said, DO NOT put any disk with good data on the affected drive. Yes, pity about Syquest, they were very reliable. Anne Keller Smith, Webdesign mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.earthpigz.com Please no attachments!
