Hi All, I�ve already started a maelstrom over this issue on other lists but I thought I may try you all out as you seem to be the most well adjusted group ;) I have a beige G3 300mhz with 384MB of RAM and a brand new 12� PB 867 G4 with 640MB of RAM. I swear on my families good name that the G3 is faster in many tasks, not the least of which is rendering video in iMovie. Both machines are running 10.2.6 and are completely stock other than the RAM. The G3 loads web pages faster, opens Entourage faster and generally seems to be FASTER! Anyone else here have the same setups and notice this or am I crazy?
