Worked with no problems
BTW. I am about to replace that unit with a retail model Pioneer DVR -A05 Superdrive
(DVD-RW/CD-RW)
The guys at http://forums.xlr8yourmac.com/drivedb/action.lasso?-search posted that this combo is fully supported.
