I am in the market for 2 inkjet printers, one for my beige running X.2.6 with usb and one for the kids to share on a couple of pcs (you pick your fights that are worthwhile and I was going to lose WAY too many husband points over this).
I am looking to get the same printer to help out with supplies. I mostly use it to print text (quicken, mapquest, etc) and the kids will want to print some color stuff, but I don't need a photo printer (yet). I am looking at the printers that are one step up from the bottom, ie Epson C62, HP 5550 etc. Any thoughts on this level of printer or recomendations? To give you an idea of my usage, I think I am on the second black cart on my Color Stylewriter 1500 that I bought new with my Apple Rewards credit card.
