If you're planning to move to OS X, be aware that 10.2.x (Jaguar) is the last version that will be supported by Apple to run on a Beige (or other non-USB machines). So, you could buy it now while supplies are plentiful at the retail level or wait until 10.3 ships on December 32nd or 33rd, when cheap used copies should be available.
