I serously increased Mac OS X 10.2.6 on a a 450 G3 B&W by lowering the color
resolution from MILLIONS of Colors to THOUSANDS of Colors.

I've usually found it hard to really tell the difference, but wouldn't it depend somewhat if there's a new video card? In what way do you test; maybe I'll play with that again.
