Hello. I will be using a SCSI card with whatever system I use, most
likely the 160MB/s variety. When choosing a hard drive, what should I look at for
speed? Everything? Rotational speed, access time, cache, anything else?
Also, anyone suggest any models to avoid for reliability reasons?
I just got a nice 36gb 68pin 10k IBM from OWC. I clock it at 54MBps. Better than either of my other 10k drives which are both under 30. Grab an ATTO UL3D too. Should run you a bit over $200 for the pair if you get em at OWC. Worth every penny.,
