Hi Lil. Glad it worked out. It's sometimes not well publicized, but several of the "control panels" in OS 9 are really applications that are just stashed in the Control Panels folder, and thus, can be given more memory. Another useful but not well known fix is to give desktop printers more memory using "Get Info" under OS 9. This can be helpful if you get memory errors when printing large files. John

Geez, my OS 9.x (all of them) Startup Disk control panels always quit

with an
error #2 so I am forced to use 8's even though I don't run 8 at all.

maybe
is because of the third party SCSI card?
