I have a G4 MDD desktop machine at my studio. I have a G3 PowerBook (Pismo) with an internal VST 250 MB Zip at home. I'm looking to transport files easily between home and studio, therefore, I'm considering buying either an Iomega external Zip 250 MB drive for the studio, or buying an Iomega Mini USB 256 MB drive.
Pro for the Zip drive are that I have about 15-20 Zip Disks already and have a drive for my Pismo. Pros for the Mini USB are size and easily transported because I travel very frequently, usually by air. Since I'm a photographer, it would also seem like I could more easily transport some samples of my work with the Mini USB to show people, even if they have a PC. Do any of these Mini USB drives come in a larger capacity, or is that in the near future. Does anyone have any experience in using these two drives and can offer a comparison? -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
