According to Iomega, the Zip 750 can read/write to 750 and 250 and read 100. The 250 can read/write to 250/100. The 100 can read/write and read only 100.

If memory serves, the Zip 250 drives can only read data from a Zip 100

I know the zip 750 drives can only read from, not write to zip 100 disks. I didn't know about the zip 250 drives having the same issue. The zip 750 drive can read/write zip 250 disks, however. At this point, as soon as I have other backup means, I'll be doing away with zip drives, entirely.
