Poorly, not clear enough for others to catch it, whatever, I meant no offense, several people did not understand that you meant in web browsers, I was just attempting to clarify, I got what you said, so it made sense at least to me.
You wouldn't need any software in OS X for the scroll wheel, in OS 9 you will need to download drivers specific to that mouse that should be found on the web site of the manufacturer.

I tried the "control" key click and it is different than what I was talking about. I never knew such a thing existed before. Thanks!
I hooked up a 2-button USB scroll mouse and any of the clicks did the same as the apple one click did. Is there software to make use of the scroll function?
