If you can't find a Mac specific driver for the mouse you have, USB Overdrive (available from VersionTracker) will work with any scroll and multi-button mouse AFAIK.

Poorly, not clear enough for others to catch it, whatever, I meant no offense, several people did not understand that you meant in web browsers, I was just attempting to clarify, I got what you said, so it made sense at least to me.

You wouldn't need any software in OS X for the scroll wheel, in OS 9 you will need to download drivers specific to that mouse that should be found on the web site of the manufacturer.

No, he is talking about contextual menus, ie what happens when you right click. However, it was described poorly.

I did say that it was while I was on the web. How did I describe it poorly?

in the Finder and most applications you need to click while holding the control key.

I tried the "control" key click and it is different than what I was talking about. I never knew such a thing existed before. Thanks!

I hooked up a 2-button USB scroll mouse and any of the clicks did the same as the apple one click did. Is there software to make use of the scroll function?
