Looking for any one with experience with an XLR8 G4 ZIF MachSpeed upgrade in there G3 B&W. I understand I will need a BIOS hack. My current G3 is a 400. I am looking at a G4-400. I do not run any apps that take advantage of the Alti-Vec engine. I do use iTunes, Mac Office X, Safari and Mail. If the OS X interface is speeded up considerable it would be worth my while.
Any Horror stories???
