Has anyone else on this list had these types of problems?
Yes. While I'm sure there are many people around that have had good expierences with OWC, your situation pretty much mirrors mine from several years ago. Poor inventory control. Sales people playing the upgrade con to squeeze more commission out of you. Late shipping. DOA parts. Then they took more than a month to process the credit fully.
This is why I prefer to get stuff off [Swap], eBay, and USENET. It's safer. Ok, now and then I order from Mac Connection, Small Dog, or I drive the hour to Microcenter... Swap rules. :)
