I have a Beige G3 MT that will not recognize a 256 mb ram in the third 
slot. I am also having other problems with it but thought this 
particular problem might identify it. I can put in 64 mb (would try 
larger but this is the largest I have except for the 256) and it works 
with that. Other problems are too numerous to mention for now. Any ideas 
as to why the 256 won't work in the third slot. I have put in a new ROM, 
it only has a USB pci card that was in it before. I put in a G3450 
processor but the 300 didn't work much better. It has two CD players and 
two hard drives. I also have problems with OSX. I stupidly installed 
10.2.8. but it didn't work properly before that.
Your help would be much apperciated.
