Don't feel bad. 
If all truth be told, then the reason why I was able to respond so quickly
to your inquiry is because the same thing happened to me!
Only that I then took it a step further, concluding that I was experiencing
problems with the upgrade, and proceeded to revert/downgrade back to 10.2.6.
The bad thing about that was that I recently installed a DVD burner that is
only supported by itunes, iDVD, etc. when running 10.2.8.
So, I went back and forth a bit, you see. It's all ok now.

Anyway, you checked with a list first. Good for you.
