Hi all, I have a B&W with an OWC G4-550. I've never really considered it too much, but I don't think it's sleeping properly. I'd like to have the machine sleep, let's say overnight or after 3 hours.... whatever.
The hard disks spin down, and the screen turns off, but the fan stays on, kinda loud too. Is this normal? I'm still a Mac newbie so I'm just wondering what's "supposed" to happen with sleep. I would think the fan should stop also, right? I haven't testing in OS9 yet, but I've just installed Panther and that's what happens. BTW: The install of Panther is working great! Much faster than Jaguar, and with PCI Quartz Extreme enabled with a Radeon 7000, I get the cool fast-user switching cube thing happening :-) Thanks! xxxxxxxx Ce message a t analys par Guinevere2 et McAfee This message was Scanned by Guinevere2 and McAfee http://nt.patlq.com/guinevere Questions?
