For the cache enabler, I'm using PowerLogix CPU Director 1.1. The difference now with Panther is that it actually shows the 1MB cache in System Profiler too, in Jaguar it always read 0MB. The OWC 550MHz is overclocked to 600MHz, no problems at all for a year now. I have 768MB RAM.
For Firewire, I only use the stock onboard ports for my video camera, but I have tried a friend's firewire DVD burner and that worked fine.
Good luck. Panther is lot's of fun!

A BIG note of thanks on the Panther report. You have a very similar set up to mine and it's great to hear you're having no problems. I also have a Adaptec 2930 SCSI card and an Iogear USB 2 / FireWire card. A couple of questions if I may.
What cache enabler (and version) do you use? Do you use any FireWire drives?
