Already tried that, multiple times even.

I'd buy drive problem, except it partitions fine under windows' disk util, 
the old dos fdisk, and the old gnu fdisk

It only freaks out when it ends up under MacOS. I think I even tried an 
older version 9.1 disk utility, too.
