Carbon Copy Cloner and Psync (my personal favorite) only work in X. OS 9 represents a whole new can of worms for cloning or backing up a hard drive. You may need to rely on a purchased piece of software such as Dantz Retrospect.

Hi Listie's:

I'd like to "Image" or clone my G3/MT. On my PC's I use Ghost to great
affect. I have installed several OS's on one and use a Ghost Image to put
them back as I want them when I need to. In the case of my "MT" I want to
clone its configuration so when I'm experimenting with it, I can go back
to my setup without marching through all the installs etc. It currently
has 8.6 on it but I have 9.1 and 9.2.1 available to me. Can it also be
done in 8.1. I'm barely using OSX yet so I'll wait on the whole Carbon
Coby Cloner thing for now. Just want to be able to do this in "Classic"
for noe.

Thanks for any help,
Gareth
