Panther: printing problems?

Hi; just got Panther which I want to install on my G4 Yikes (currently 
at 10.2.6). But I have the impression from reading some of the 
listserves that my Epson printer (C42UX) is not going to work under 
Panther. I've checked the Epson website and the latest driver is what 
is I currently am using, and there's no mention of a problem with 
Panther. Anyone know if this is an issue? I sure don't want to find out 
after installing Panther that my printer (and hence the good supply of 
ink I have for it) is not useable. Thanks.
