Hi. Has anybody switched out their motherboards on the BW G3's to correct the flaw 
with the Rev 1's?

Is it difficult and all

You *can* add a slave drive to a Rev 1 under OS X--the system slows 
both drives down to accommodate the problems the controller has with 
such configurations. This is hardly ideal, however.

As I recall from various discussions on this subject, it isn't so much 
the size of the drive as the make. Perhaps people on the list can 
recommend drives based on their own experiences.
