Well, I wish I could MAKE my Mac work like that. I'd LOVE a silent startup. I hate the big semi-musical crash or boom that accompanies the startup of this G4-733 running OS 9.2.2. Sometimes when I get up early in the morning ahead of the rest of the family, I don't want to wake up anybody who's still sleeping, but when I start up the Mac it's like banging a big gong on them.
