Mac G3 Server (beige) - basic question

I picked up a numberr of items in a local auction, including a Mac G3 
server, the beige tower. On the back it is listed as 233 mhz although 
someone had put a G3 500 mhz chip in it.

I have a number of questions and am still deciding what to do with 
it, but my initial question is:
Does the name "G3 Server" mean there is anything structurally 
different about this Mac from  G3 233 mhz beige tower or was it just 
a software thing?
