Brian, I have a USB Dazzle SmartMedia card reader that does not always recognize it has a card in it the first time it is inserted. I also occasionally have to plug-unplug-plug the connector in if it wasn't recognized. The information on their website says it should work. http://www.sandisk.com/retail_eightinone.html Both Jaguar and Panther have always recognized the reader without needing any additional drivers however it's the only one I've ever tried and so I haven't had to go searching for additional drivers.
