The F1 slot is a small SGRAM-style slot that lies underneath your "personality" card (that's you're audio-out card of whatever style, A/V or not, it is. If you have an internal modem, then the modem is hiding your F1 slot). The slot is addressed by angling the 4Mg SGRAM video card (2Mg on the motherboard; the 4Mg upgrade brings you to the 6Mg total you mentioned) into the slot, then swiveling the card down so that it lays parallel to the motherboard. There is no greater upgrade for this onboard video option than the current total/solution that you have. 3-D acceleration is supported via the motherboard and OS-level extensions (provided by ATI and Apple's OpenGL extensions), but it is 6Mg of 64-bit addressing, so older 3D games-only would be appropriate. 2D acceleration is pretty good, imho. Most would agree your best bet is via a PCI-slot add-on card. Retail cards are fine (mostly ATI), or you can use OEM 16-mg ATI Rage cards, sold on eBay for about $25, that are pulls from the newer B+W G3s.
