Hi I have just acquired an Origo 8100 ethernet router+ modem. I am using one of those awful frog-like USB modems at the moment with my Virgin dsl connection.
I have, without success, been trying to connect the ethernet router. There was no Mac software with the router only Windows stuff. Just selecting "use DHCP" in Network pref pane didn't work. Virgin tech support said that I needed Mac software to access the router interface but Origo's site had no mention of Apple or Mac anywhere. Is there anything I can do or do I have to buy an officially supported router/modem? Are Virgin not telling me everything? Andy -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
