Don't quote me on this but my initial answer is NO! You can put faster
memory into a slower motherboard , say 133MHZ RAM into a 100MHz
motherboard and the fast memory will happily drop speed. Many PC users
installed PC133 RAM into PC100 motherboards when it was cheaper than
PC100 RAM. As far as I'm aware you cannot run 100MHz RAM in a 133MHz
motherboard. I'm not sure how various accelrator card manufacturers get
around this problem, since their upgrade card will still use the
existing memory, even though it is slower.

Best Regards
Pete

Subject: Re: DA 533 in a Sawtooth 400

     Can I put a DA 533 processor in a 400mhz Sawtooth with the 100mhz
bus? Will it adjust itself to the bus speed or do I have to have a
133mhz
bus model?

     Pete
