I wanted firewire target disk mode and I wanted startup manager so I settled on a G4.

My wife has a G4 1.25 and it is very nice. Refurbs where $1100. I bummed around on ebay for a few days. I didn't really want a G4 400 cause that would be about the same speed my G3 450 (w/o using altivec engine apps). Soon I settled on a Quicksilver. I ended up getting a G4 733 for a little over $600. I sold my G3 for $300 so the price wasn't so bad after all.

I am thinking of upgrading from my B&W to a G4. I am on a budget, so am wondering, what is the most cost effective G4 out there and how much should I be expecting to pay for it?
Thanks
Tom
