I'm running 9.2.2. I loaded 9.1 on a clean drive and patched 9.2.1 and 
then 9.2.2. I have had some AppleTalk problems from time-to-time, 
though. It seems to be mostly related to the Ethernet, though (best I 
can tell). I may put in a spare drive, and experiment. Thanks for the 
pointer.

There is a serial patch which might help if you're on an early Mac OS.
