".bin" or binary files can be opened with the freeware StuffIt
Expander from Aladdin (recently renamed Allume).  If you do not
already have StuffIt Deluxe, or Standard, the Expander can be readily
dowloaded from VersionTracker or similar websites.  Many browsers come
with  StuffIt plug-ins.
