I second the vote for Thoth. I paid my shareware fee within 2 days of downloading it. However, note the the author is not developing it any more. Also note, that like many apps that the author stops supporting, he has pulled the app from distribution, according to his site. You can still get it on download.com, and it is listed on versiontracker, but when you click on the download link, it takes you to www.thothsw.com, which is just a generic network solutions domain parking page.
Be warned though, if you find a copy, it is limited to getting 500 articles at a time and many active binary groups have well over that many posts in a day. The only way to unlock it is to pay the shareware fee, which you can't any more.
Also, it will not be updated any more. So until Apples "updates" the os so that it can not run, I will be using it. Heck, I am still using WriteNow 4.0.2 which runs comfortably on a Mac Plus with 1 meg of Ram under 6.0.8 as my main word processor on a 933MHz DA running 10.3.5 with the 9/7/04 security update and a beige G3 running 10.2.8, not to mention a beige running 9.2.2
