Just picked up an ATTO LVD/SE ultra scsi card. Not the 160 or 320 card. It
has firmware version 1.6.4f according to apple profile. The card is identified
as a ExpressPCIproUL2D. I am running mac os x 10.3.5. Can I boot a B&W rev 2
from this scsi card?

This card boots OK in my Beige, and I bought a second one for my B&W.

This card is 33 MHz/64 bit, and the Beige is 33 MHz/32 bit, while the B&W is
33 MHz/64 bit.

The card is definitely 32/64 compatible.

However, I have found that the earlier 1.4.4u firmware is more compatible.

I have modified my cards to provide both two internal and two external drive
connectors.

Standard is Bus 1 internal only and Bus 0 external only.

A great card, but it is much better with at least the Bus 0 internal
connector installed (a not too difficult job) for easier booting, and it is much more
flexible with, additionally, the Bus 1 external connector installed (very
difficult).
