Hello folks,
Just wanted to find out what kind of non-essential files in OS X Panther are ok to toss into the trash can (I have seen those ds store files). Thanks.
Don't bother with the DS_Store files; they'll only get recreated when you open that folder in OS X again.
You cab get rid a a pile of extraneous localization files by using a utility like DeLocalizer <http://www.bombich.com/software/index.html>. On a full install that'll get rid of quite a bit.
Beyond that it's NOT a good idea to go about slashing and burning in an OS X install.
