It is generally true that EIDE, UATA/33, UATA/66 and UATA/100 support <= 137 GB, maximum, with a practical maximum of 128 GB. It is generally true that UATA/133 support >> 137 GB, maximum, with a practical maximum of 300 GB today, and much, much more, soon.
